Blessings On Africa

Blessings On Africa is a US-based Christian nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting poverty and related injustice in West Africa through microfinance, education, health, and technology, one village at a time.

Our

History

In 2004, a team from Middle Smithfield Presbyterian Church visited Agome Tomegbe, a small village in Togo, West Africa with the intent of building a new church there. After a period of over 2 weeks, it became very clear that there were many other more pressing needs.

In Action

Here is just a small list of what we do for the villages in Africa:

Clean water for all (well drilling)
Education (we provide orphans with tuition, uniform, school supplies, basic health care and a small amount of money to their surviving parents or guardians).
Improving the socio-economic status of women and children (income generating projects for widows, disadvantaged and marginalized women)
Basic health care (free consultation for pregnant women, orphans, children infected with HIV/AIDS)
Microfinance
Alternative and renewable energy / Environmental protection
